Location:- This charming village hall is situated on  the north side of Hopwood on the A441,the Birmingham to Reddicth Road-just a mile from     Junction 2, M42 Motorway.

Facilities at the hall :-Large main hall can accommodate 80-100 people, full stage with lights,fully fitted PA system , 

                        Committee room and kitchen has been brought in to the 21st century by having a  a complete refurbish ( Aug 2016).

                        From a grant obtained from the The Big Lottery fund, monies from the hall account, donation from Worcester county council and

                        paint  and decorating from a WI competition win.                     

                        The LED lighting which is fitted in this part of the refurbishment, brings this building well into this century.

                        Small committee room Accommodates approx 30 people    

                        Toilets :- Female, Male with disabled & baby changing unit

                        The main hall has a maple flooring, double glazing and the state of the art wifi connection

                         Full gas central heating in all rooms ,remote temperature controlled  via wifi set by members of the committee at home, using the

                        Tado  WiFi heating controll system

Outside:- The hall has a small car park  at front and a small  enclosed rear grounds. articial grass and  a small covered area with outdoor benches.

Please, no parking on the Rise ,blocking the drive next to the hall car park or outside any of the neighbours houses

Overflow parking has been granted out of works time, next door in the small factory  or any time at the rear of the Westmead Hotel

History:-The building(built approx 1914) was  originally a lemonade factory,was given to the people of Hopwood by a local benefactor Mr.F.J.Batchelor at the turn of the century.

The intention is for the hall to be used for educational, recreational and social purposes and throughout its earlier years, the hall was used as a men's social club.

Held in trust by the charities commission,the day -to- day running of the hall is the responsability of the management committee,,whose members are local residents and users of the hall.The committee welcomes comments about the hall (good or bad) and any ideas for its better use.

Hopwood Village hall is an ideal venue for parties,receptions,dances and other occasions.
